Exploring Canada’s Physical Regions: An Alien’s Discovery
Join Zibbi the alien as she visits Earth to explore some of Canada’s physical regions. As she travels from towering mountains to frozen northern landscapes and wide-open plains, students follow her journey to learn how land, climate, and human activities shape each region.
This Releasing Writers-inspired unit is directly aligned with the Ontario Grade 4 Science and Technology curriculum (Strand B – People and Environments: Political and Physical Regions of Canada) and includes a connected syntax lesson for students to practise writing complex sentences with adverbial clauses.
