Effective literacy instruction begins with understanding the unique needs of every student. This workshop explores the crucial roles of universal screening and diagnostic assessments in informing teaching strategies and supporting student achievement.
Participants will explore the use of these assessments in tandem to understand student strengths and next steps.
Each foundational literacy skill (Strand B) will be explained, with emphasis placed on how assessments are used to inform evidence-based instruction that empowers students to reach their full potential.
