Exploring STEM in Kindergarten: Coding, Inquiry, and Engineering Design in the 2026 Curriculum (in partnership with Science North)

Build your confidence in supporting STEM learning in Kindergarten through Ontario’s Kindergarten Curriculum (2026). This webinar will be delivered in partnership with Science North and is intended to support educators in teaching and assessing new learning about coding, the inquiry process, and engineering design, supporting educators in understanding and implementing the Problem Solving and Innovation Strand of the new curriculum. Participants will explore how young students develop foundational STEM learning through hands-on, inquiry-based experiences, supported by practical examples of instructional and assessment strategies that bring coding and engineering design to life in Kindergarten classrooms. Participants will have the opportunity to share questions and areas of interest.

This webinar is offered by the Ministry of Education in partnership with Science North.
