  1. This article is gold! There are many instances where comprehension is greatly impaired due to students not understanding the sentence structure – like in math problems, instructions for projects, reading comprehension questions for texts- the list doesn’t end. The big question will be what are the evidence based strategies to instruct and assess this adequately.
