Whoops – I was going to comment that instruction of vocabulary for multilingual learners is more than what we know about instructional routines and strategies. We do need to have understandings of home languages to be able to best support in the classroom. Many instructional routines will need to be considered. I hope to learn more about this and to learn more about structures of multiple languages as well (or where to research this reliably).
