Handwriting: The ABCs of Explicit Instruction and Assessment

Handwriting plays a key role in the development of early literacy skills in both writing and reading.  Participants will learn about:

• the interconnection between writing and reading development,
• evidence-based tips to teach handwriting, and
• how to administer and interpret brief handwriting assessments.
