What an excellent episode. This is a book you won’t want to miss out on. I am very happy that student focused coaching was the chosen model- as opposed to content coaching, cognitive coaching etc. I also deeply appreciate the chosen definition- starting with cooperation and then moving to collaboration. This truly is a partnership where the coach is not the expert, or the person who creates the resources for the teacher, but the a co-learner and co-thinker, co-planner etc. through the collaboration with the data. How do we know if what we are doing is having an impact. Coaching and relationships is where the real power lies. So happy to see this taking root for literacy in Ontario. I will definitely read this book!
