  1. I cam here looking for more information to share with a colleague on writing. She has the Writing Rope and this video is exactly what she needs to think a little deeper. I really like using the phrase, “write to think”. I always like to connect reading to our brain and what it is doing- I also like talking about what the brain is doing when we write. I find some students really want to know what their brain is doing. “Model, practice, reflect” is a great way to also explain “I do, we do and you do” when working with older students. Taking notes when we learn is also something I want to mention. This is so important for my brain. I try to help student learn if their brain also likes this learning tool. Lastly, spelling is so important! Thank you so much Reading League groups!
