L\u2019unit\u00e9 s\u2019appuie sur un texte mod\u00e8le clair et accessible qui explique l\u2019objectif de la Convention, les droits qu\u2019elle prot\u00e8ge et les responsabilit\u00e9s qu\u2019ont les gouvernements pour en assurer le respect. En s\u2019engageant dans la lecture de ce texte, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves analysent la fa\u00e7on dont les textes communiquent des id\u00e9es complexes, organisent l\u2019information essentielle et \u00e9tablissent des liens entre les cadres mondiaux et les exp\u00e9riences v\u00e9cues des \u00e9l\u00e8ves en Ontario et ailleurs. Cette unit\u00e9 soutient \u00e0 la fois le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences civique, en aidant les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 mieux comprendre les syst\u00e8mes qui favorisent l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, la protection et le bien-\u00eatre des enfants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La fluidit\u00e9 en perspective &#8211; Qui d\u00e9fend les droits des enfants ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le texte de fluidit\u00e9 de l\u2019unit\u00e9 1 permet aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves d\u2019approfondir leur compr\u00e9hension quant \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont les droits des enfants sont prot\u00e9g\u00e9s dans la pratique, en mettant l\u2019accent sur le r\u00f4le des organisations non gouvernementales (ONG). Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la lecture r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9e tout au long de la semaine, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves d\u00e9veloppent leur fluidit\u00e9 en lecture orale tout en renfor\u00e7ant les relations de cause \u00e0 effet.
