La conscience phon\u00e9mique est une habilet\u00e9 essentielle au d\u00e9codage et \u00e0 l\u2019encodage des mots et constitue un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important de l\u2019enseignement de la maternelle et de la 1re ann\u00e9e. Si les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont re\u00e7u un enseignement efficace en conscience phon\u00e9mique en maternelle\/jardin et en 1re ann\u00e9e, la plupart d\u2019entre eux et elles auront d\u00e9j\u00e0 ma\u00eetris\u00e9 le fusionnement et la segmentation, deux comp\u00e9tences essentielles pr\u00e9requises \u00e0 l\u2019orthographe (encodage) des mots en 2<sup>e<\/sup> ann\u00e9e. Par cons\u00e9quent, il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019attentes sp\u00e9cifiques en mati\u00e8re de conscience phon\u00e9mique pour la deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e, et il n\u2019est pas n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019\u00e9valuer la conscience phon\u00e9mique pour tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves.\n\nPour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves dont les donn\u00e9es de d\u00e9pistage indiquent un risque de difficult\u00e9s de lecture,\u00a0 utilisez l\u2019infographie d\u2019ONlit <a href=\"https:\/\/onlit.org\/fr\/ressource\/donner-un-sens-au-depistage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Donner un sens au d\u00e9pistage<\/a> pour d\u00e9terminer les \u00e9l\u00e8ves qui ont besoin d\u2019une \u00e9valuation diagnostique de la conscience phon\u00e9mique.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-698dace elementor-widget elementor-widget-global elementor-global-36380 elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"698dace\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Il ne s&rsquo;agit pas d&rsquo;une liste exhaustive de toutes les attentes dans ce domaine. Veuillez consulter le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dcp.edu.gov.on.ca\/fr\/curriculum\/elementaire-francais\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">programme-cadre de fran\u00e7ais<\/a> pour plus de d\u00e9tails.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-db666d1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"db666d1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves dont les donn\u00e9es d\u2019\u00e9valuation indiquent un besoin d\u2019intervention en mati\u00e8re de conscience phon\u00e9mique, la Dre Susan Brady a partag\u00e9 quelques consid\u00e9rations importantes dans la pr\u00e9sentation <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/VX_45kRJHEQ?si=wsfh1B8jWIjzCgXf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Phoneme Awareness Research Updated (2022)<\/a> :\n<ul>\n \t<li>L\u2019enseignement de la conscience phon\u00e9mique est plus efficace lorsqu\u2019il est int\u00e9gr\u00e9 avec la connaissance des lettres, l\u2019\u00e9criture scripte et les activit\u00e9s de lecture.<\/li>\n \t<li>La conscience phon\u00e9mique se d\u00e9veloppe de mani\u00e8re pr\u00e9visible. Les enfants d\u00e9veloppent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement leur conscience phon\u00e9mique en fonction de la position du phon\u00e8me dans un mot ou une syllabe (Brady, 2022).<\/li>\n \t<li>Bien qu\u2019il existe un continuum de comp\u00e9tences \u00e0 travers lequel les \u00e9l\u00e8ves progressent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, des plus grands segments (c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire les rimes, les syllabes) au plus petit segment (les phon\u00e8mes), les \u00e9l\u00e8ves n\u2019ont pas besoin de montrer qu\u2019ils ma\u00eetrisent les plus grands segments avant de s\u2019initier \u00e0 la conscience des phon\u00e8mes. <strong>L\u2019enseignement doit viser \u00e0 se concentrer sur le niveau des phon\u00e8mes le plus rapidement possible, car les comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de conscience des phon\u00e8mes sont les plus importantes pour apprendre \u00e0 lire et \u00e0 \u00e9peler &#8211;
