Le tableau indique un continuum d\u2019apprentissages &#8211; c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire <strong>une sensibilisation \u00e0 la notion (S), une \u00e9tude syst\u00e9matique (\u00c9) et un approfondissement (A)<\/strong> &#8211; s\u2019\u00e9tendant de la 1<sup>re<\/sup> \u00e0 la 9<sup>e<\/sup> ann\u00e9e. Le tableau indique les p\u00e9riodes pendant lesquelles les \u00e9l\u00e8ves devraient utiliser les structures donn\u00e9es dans leurs \u00e9crits, mais ces structures seront utilis\u00e9es et comprises \u00e0 l\u2019oral beaucoup plus t\u00f4t.\n\nCes conventions linguistiques doivent \u00eatre introduites et d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es dans le cadre de l&rsquo;\u00e9criture, de la lecture et de la communication orale, plut\u00f4t que de mani\u00e8re isol\u00e9e, afin que les \u00e9l\u00e8ves puissent apprendre \u00e0 les utiliser pour communiquer et comprendre en contexte.
